Yarn Crafters offers a variety of needlework supplies with an special emphasis on needlepoint and knitting. We stress individualized personal attention and offer a variety of services, such as needlework pillow and sweater assembly and finishing, custom needlework framing and special orders for items not in stock.

We are a family owned and operated store in Freehold, NJ which was established in 1976. Founded by the late Ed Berkowsky, his daughter, Natalie and son-in-law Ernie Hartz have continued the family tradition, remaining at our present location for the past 17 years.

Although we originally started out as a Rug Crafters franchise, selling supplies for "Speed Tufting" rug punch and latch hook, over the years our product line has expanded to include needlepoint, knitting and crochet, and stitchery (cross stitch, and embroidery). We look for the unusual and unique in products and designs.

It is our desire to treat all our customers with honesty, courtesy, and fairness, so that they have the best materials they need plus the benefit of our many years of experience in this creative industry.
