Welcome to The Wicked Stitch, a place for all types of fiber enthusiasts to socialize, learn and find that special yarn, fiber, dye or spinning wheel to create anything they can imagine!
We specialize in yarns and products from small, independent companies that are dedicated to preserving our earth's resources and promoting global harmony.
The Schermerhorn family homestead is populated with sheep, angora goats, horses, chickens, children and a fat angora rabbit. A knitter and spinner for 10 years, Jennifer's fiber addiction led her to open The Wicked Stitch Yarn and Fiber in downtown Wamego in June 2008.
With a passion for natural materials and a yearning for environmental responsibility, Jennifer has put together a shop filled with friendly fibers and friendly faces!
