If the shop is closed due to winter weather, there will be a notice posted here on the website and emailed to the mailing list. As a general rule, if Fort Smith schools are closed for bad weather, the shop is also closed.

Stringtown Yarn & Fiber is a friendly LYS full of great yarns and fabulous spinning fibers, plus other local knitters, crocheters, and spinners to hang out with. We encourage people to come in, sit down, have some coffee or tea, and work on their projects. We also have classes in knitting, crochet, spinning, needle felting, and more. New yarns are arriving all the time, so come see what’s new!
