Sheepish is your locally owned independent retailer for fine knitting, spinning, crochet and weaving accessories and supplies. While Sheepish is new, we are continuing the 35 year tradition of providing high-quality inventory, support, and advice for needlecrafters in the Atlanta area. Sheepish is located in the heart of downtown Decatur, Georgia and is a short walk from the historic Decatur square. Free parking is available in the deck behind the store. We are completely handicap accessible.
Latest Arrivals
We just received an order from Crystal Palace for some wool yarns, Mochi and Taos, in the loveliest rainbow colors. But we were even more excited about new, luscious colors of Panda Cotton, Panda Soy, and Panda Silk! We also just got in some new 75% bamboo sock yarn from Kertzer called On Your Toes that must be felt to be believed: squishy and soft and absolutely dreamy on your feet. More of Cascade’s Ecological Wool just arrived; each skein is nearly 500 yards of undyed bulky yarn that comes almost straight from the sheep to you. And our absolute favorite new arrival? A line of adorable knitting, crochet, and needlecraft themed earrings from Stacybeads.
We happily take special orders from any of the companies we currently carry, so if you don’t find exactly what you’re looking for, ask and we’ll do our best to get it ordered and delivered quickly to our store.

Every Tuesday - Knit Night 6pm to 8pm. We stay open a bit later for good times. Bring a project, a friend and snacks/drinks!
