Nashville's only East-side specialty shop - offering a wide variety of quality yarns and accessories for knitting and crochet. Knit Happy is owned and operated by Sherry Neel. We opened our doors on January 12, 2008, in the Shiloh Plaza Shopping Center on Lebanon Road on the East Side of Nashville, Tennessee. Knit Happy is the realization of a dream for Sherry and her husband to become business owners. With Sherry's love of the craft and a market to be served, a perfect opportunity was born!
Why Knit Happy?
According to Sherry, "Naming a store is like naming a baby. You go through a million possibilities in order to find the perfect name. After considering a seemingly endless list, it came down to one thing. One of my strongest motivations for opening the shop was to find that thing - that profession - that livelihood, that truly made me happy. I believe that the key to professional happiness is to find your passion and then figure out a way to make a living doing it! It was all about happiness, so Knit Happy was the perfect choice!"
Our Mission is to create a welcoming, fun and fresh environment where people will want to gather to create, fellowship, laugh and learn with others who share their passion for all things yarn. We offer a wide variety of quality yarns, patterns and accessories so that you may create works of love and beauty for yourselves, your loved ones, or a deserving charity.
