Kamille's all started with a dream...Owner Kamille Bauer loved knitting and teaching, and especially all the yarns available to spoil those who appreciate the art of handwork. While growing up in the salt lake vallley and loving to visit Gardner Village, she was bummed they didn't have a yarn store. That's when the wheels started turning, and on November 15th, 2007, she opened the doors to Kamille's-Where Friends Wind Up. Kamille currently lives in West Valley City and has a husband, 2 kids, 2 dogs and now a store!

Kamille's will continue to provide her friends at the store with great variety and great service, as well as fun innovative classes to challenge all levels of knitting and crocheting.

Here you’ll find the most luxurious and unique yarns around. Skeins, hanks or balls of vibrant and earthy yarns spill out of every corner: sock-lover’s Alpaca, supple merino wool, organic cotton—or if you’re in the mood for something different, pick up some flashy Feza yarn from New York, at $42 a skein, it’s a wild mix of metallic, acrylic and rayon yarns sure to dazzle your knitting needles. Or choose from a selection of knitting books, needles and notions. You can even sign up to take a knitting class (the mother-child class is a popular one).

The store is an exclusive supplier of super soft Suss Yarn in the coolest color palate imaginable (like warm pumpkin, sage, chili pepper and sand.)At the back of the store, you’ll find dozens of felting yarns to make purses or shoes. The store also carries yummy smelling McCall candles, and other gift items like artisan furniture, paintings from local artists and local pioneer soaps made in Tropic, Utah.
