Halea's Doll Clothes is a very small home-based business offering dolls and doll related items. The business is named after my daughter, Halea.

I decided to turn my love for doll dressmaking into a business in 1991. During the first seven years I specialized in the design of doll clothes and patterns to fit popular 15" and 18" dolls. Garments were successfully sold through local craft fairs, and doll shows. Halea's Doll Clothes sewing patterns were sold through Clotilde of Florida, TLC Doll of Tennessee, and Newark Dressmaker Supply of Pennsylvania.

When online auctions came to town, I decided to put away my packing boxes, relax a little, and sell through ebay and Yahoo. I now sell almost solely through my Internet store, opened February 4, 2007.

My doll clothes are not mass-produced and look as if they really belong on a child or baby. They are very carefully designed to fit the era, personality, and appearance of the doll. If necessary, reproduction antique clothing is hand sewn.
