We opened Desert Thread in 2006 with the hope of creating a friendly yarn shop where knitter's and crocheter's could stop in for help with a current project, sit and stitch, or share creative ideas. Since then, our customers have been the heart of the business.

We are dedicated to stocking quality supplies and carefully select the finest fibers and tools for knitting, crochet, and felting. In addition, we carry an array of local, home grown yarn and spinning fiber.

We're located on Center Street in downtown Moab, just west of the Visitor's Center in the Center Street Square Shopping Center.
