Compatto Yarn Salon is a small, unique fiber artist's haven offering beautiful natural fibers displayed in a way guaranteed to inspire you to create. Hand dyed cashmeres and hand painted silks are nestled along with the hand dyed alpacas and hand painted soy or bamboo. Hand spun silk strung with sequins, beads, crystals or semi precious stones share space with cottons, merinos, and a myriad of felting wools, vegan and organic fibers.
Friendly employees are knowledgeable, encouraging and committed to including every knitter and crocheter into our Compatto (Italian for Close Knit) community. Regardless of your individual skill level or budget, Compatto has yarns, patterns, needles, and notions to meet your needs. And if we don't, Special Orders are absolutely no problem.
Compatto's basic knitting and crochet classes are taught each week along with many other options designed to get your creative juices flowing! Although located in the beautiful City of Santa Monica, we are easily accessible from just about any part of the greater Los Angeles area.
