Opened in 2005, Atelier Marin specializes in luxurious natural fibers and
hand dyed yarns. We proudly offer expert advice, a full class schedule
and a comprehensive selection of books and accessories for knitting and
crochet.
Atelier Marin is the "sister store" to Atelier Yarns in San Francisco.
Together we are striving to offer our customers unparalleled selection
and service.
Atelier Marin is owned by Amanda Madlener. Amanda is a Bay Area native recently returned from ten years of living in New York City. She has been knitting and crocheting since a young age when she was first taught by her aunt, Grace Cooper.
Opening Atelier Marin is the realization of a dream for many years and Amanda looks forward to bringing her New York City style and aesthetic to Marin!
It's a family affair! Amanda with her aunt Grace Cooper who opened Atelier Yarns in San Francisco over 20 years ago. Grace has over 40 years of experience and her spirit and creativity have been driving forces in the resurgence of knitting and crochet in the Bay Area over the last several years.
