Welcome to the home of all things fibery and wonderful from Taos Sunflower Yarns & Fibers in Arroyo Seco, New Mexico.
After closing the retail shop in Oct. 2008, I'm delighted to be able to be on Etsy to keep in touch with many of you who were such great supporters of the shop.
Mine is not a production studio and all items are one of a kind or limited editions, and will be marked as such. Because of this, I can't take special orders, sorry. My dyeing schedule is limited, too...so if you see something you love, well, you know what to do.
I buy only top quality fibers and handle them very carefully while painting them. I've purchased too many rovings over the years that have been felted in the dyeing process and know how annoying it is to try to work with them...so I go to great lengths to avoid this happening to my own products.
My motto: life is too short for bad fibers.
