Showers of Flowers is partnering with the Denver Public Library's new initiative to make hand-knitted items for soldiers! We are happy to say our two-day event to help reach the Mile-High City's goal of 5,280 hats to send to our men and women in the armed forces was a huge success! A big thank you to all of those who came out to knit, as well as those who dropped off hats!
We are still collecting knitted hats for soldiers, as the library will continue to collect them through 2009. Please keep up the contributions, every piece is greatly appreciated!
