JUST IN!

Noro Kureyon sock is here! The colors are just gorgeous, and will make wonderful lace projects as well as socks.

Crazy for socks? Come in and see Plymouth's new Happy Feet merino sock yarn! Great colors, fun to knit or crochet with.

We are now stocking Pastaza llama/wool in 14 colors. It has a quick-to-knit gauge of 4 stitches per inch on #9 needles. Softly spun, and very lovely. Plus, forty fabulous colors of Cascade 220!

Ecological Wool from Cascade has been getting a lot of buzz lately (see Knitter's Review). It's a softly spun, minimally processed, natural Peruvian wool. We are stocking all the undyed colors of this yarn. It's an excellent value, at $15.95 per 478 yard/250 gram skein. Two to three skeins will make a nice size afghan on #10 needles, and at 4 stitches per inch it's also a quick knit.

For handspinners, we have these beautiful handmade glass orifice hooks from Sheila and Michael Ernst, and fabulous fibers from Louet.

Kits! An intermediate lace project, this Baby Alpaca scarf or shawl kit is knit in two parts and joined at the center with grafting. We've also got a great Learn to Knit Socks kit, a nice gift-able kit for a baby sweater in bamboo-cotton, and a simply gorgeous silk lace shawl kit.

Textured felting is hot! We have twenty colors of Riverstone felting wool from Louet to satisfy your needs! We have a great kit for a cabled felted bag here. The individual skeins are 100 grams with 193 yards, and are moderately priced at $7.25.

Check out the gorgeous colors of Taos that just came in! Also new is Urban Silk from Skacel.

If you are a sock knitter, you're going to love these 5" Sox Stix, from Lantern Moon. Available in blondwood, rosewood, and ebony, they come in a cute plaid organza bag for storage. We stock sizes US1 and 2.

To order: call, email, or print out our order form and mail it to us. We ship by Priority Mail at nominal cost. Orders over $50 — shipping is free!

If you're looking for honey, bees, and bee-keeping info, check out Pocket Meadow Farm in Oregon. We aren't affiliated, but seem to be on the same small-farm wavelength. Michelle and Curt have a blog here with interesting info about their cob and strawbale cottage project.

Time to start thinking about warm winter knits! Let us know what you need in the way of supplies, help or encouragement! Happy knitting!
