Formerly known as the Bead Shoppe, Mission Street Arts and Fibers is located in Ketchikan, Alaska, in the center of down town across the street from historic St. John's Church.

Our store opened in 1997 and continues to grow. 2009 starts us off in another direction with the opening of a new store in June, "The Point", located on Ketchikan's west end.

We carry a large selection of high quality yarns and knitting supplies, Miyuki Japanese beads and contemporary art glass from many different artists. We specialize in the latest color selections, most current books and publications. Check out our competitive prices.

We also carry the works of several local artists, including Terry Pyles, one of Alaska's best known painters. Dave Rubin, Dorene McDaniel, Glen Fazakerley, Mimi Kotlarov, and many other local favorites are also shown in our store.

Our web site can't possibly show everything we have in stock. Even visitors from big cities are amazed at the variety and quantity we carry.

If there is anything you need or want, we have it! Or we'll get it for you! If you want to, you can call the store from 10:00 am to 5:00pm Monday through Saturday Alaska Daylight Time (we're an hour earlier than Pacific time): 907-225-2854

Happy Crafting,

Cheri Pyles
