2010 Knitting Olympic Challenge - Prairie Yarns
2010 Knitting Olympic Challenge - Prairie Yarns

If you have ever dreamed of being an Olympian, the 2010 Knitting Olympic Challenge is your chance to make your dreams come true.

Rules:

* Cast on your project during or after the Opening Ceremonies, on February 12. You may swatch before that, if you need to.
* Complete your project by the end of the Closing Ceremonies, on February 28. This includes weaving in ends. You can block your project after the competition is over.
* The project you choose must be a challenge for you to complete. It can be a project with a technique you’ve never done before (cables, entrelac) or a larger project that requires a lot of knitting (sweater, afghan). This is your chance to do more than you thought you could do.
* Bring your completed project into the store by 5 pm on March 3 to be eligible for prizes. We will take a picture of your project to be posted on our website.

All completed projects will be entered into a drawing for prizes.
Gold—$50 gift certificate
Silver—$30 gift certificate
Bronze—$15 gift certificate

Purchase your project materials at Prairie Yarns before February 14 and receive a 15% discount on yarn. The discount applies only to your Olympics project. Good luck, have fun, and go for the gold!
